This tool makes blank pages to write on by hand. To type first, use the Daily, Weekly or Monthly Planner.

Why does my printed page have a different size?

The page asks for your chosen paper and orientation, but some browsers let the print dialog override it. Check the paper size there.

About the printable planner

What is a printable planner?

A printable planner is a planner you make at home from a file instead of buying a bound book. You choose the layout you need, print as many copies as you want and replace pages when your life changes. There is no year-long commitment, no wasted pages for weeks you do not use and no cost beyond paper and ink.

This free printable planner lets you pick a layout, set the date, add an optional title, choose paper size and orientation, check a live preview and print or save as PDF. The layouts are daily, weekly, monthly, a to-do list, lined notes and a dot grid. It all happens in your browser, with no sign-up and no watermark.

Choosing the right layout

Each layout suits a different kind of planning. Pick the one that matches the question you are trying to answer.

  • Daily: a page for one day’s priorities, tasks and times. Best when your days are busy and every hour matters.
  • Weekly: seven days on a page. Best for seeing how work, home and appointments fit together.
  • Monthly: a calendar grid for deadlines, trips and events. Best for the long view.
  • To-do list: a plain checklist with room to prioritise. Best for brain dumps and errands.
  • Lined notes: ruled paper for meeting notes, journaling and planning in your own words.
  • Dot grid: a flexible grid for sketching layouts, habit trackers, mind maps and bullet-journal pages.

Paper size and orientation

Choose the paper size that matches your printer and the way you want to use the page. A4 and US Letter are the common choices for home printers. Portrait orientation suits daily pages, lists and notes. Landscape suits weekly and monthly pages, where seven columns need room. If you keep your planner in a binder, print on standard paper and punch holes, or use the dot grid and lined layouts as filler pages.

The preview shows how the page will look before you print, so you can change size, orientation or title and see the result immediately.

How to print a clean page

Choose Print / Save as PDF. In your browser’s print dialog, turn off headers and footers to remove the page title, date and web address from the margins. Set scale to 100% (or “default”) so the layout is not shrunk. If you want a digital copy, choose “Save as PDF” as the destination; you can then send the file to a tablet and write on it with a stylus.

For the best result on ordinary printers, use plain white paper of 80 gsm or more. If you write with fountain pens or markers, heavier paper prevents bleed-through.

Ways people use printable planners

  • A fresh weekly page every Sunday, clipped to a clipboard on the desk.
  • A monthly page on the fridge for the whole household.
  • A daily page for exam weeks, launches, moves or trips when days are unusually full.
  • Dot grid pages for bullet-journal spreads, goal maps and weekly reviews.
  • Lined pages for meeting notes that sit in the same folder as the plan.

Printable planner or interactive planner?

Both have their place. A blank printable page is the most flexible and the most satisfying to write on, and it has no battery. An interactive planner adds things paper cannot: dates that fill in automatically, overlap warnings, totals and exports to your calendar. Just Plann offers both. If you want the page to be filled in for you before printing, try the daily planner, weekly planner or monthly planner, which print your entries. If you want a blank page to fill by hand, use this printable planner.

Tips to make a paper planner stick

  • Keep it where you will see it: next to your keyboard, on the kitchen table or in your bag.
  • Plan at the same time every day or week so the habit forms.
  • Use one pen and a small set of symbols for tasks, events and notes.
  • Print only what you will use in the next week or two so the pile does not become a guilt trip.
  • Review used pages before printing new ones, and carry over only what still matters.

Privacy and cost

The planner is free. It runs in your browser, nothing you enter is uploaded and no account is required. The only output is a printed page or a PDF saved by your own browser.
